About the Event
GiSTEM recognizes that the current exposure to virtual learning can lead to both benefits and challenges in the future for students interested in STEM. We want to ensure that there continues to be a pipeline of women to move into future STEM careers.
GISTEM, Inc. is looking for two female high school students to participate in our GiSTEMChats "From Virtual to Reality" to discuss their experience with virtual learning. If interested, please apply at GiSTEM Application. The deadline for the application is October 9, 2020.
The objectives for this session are to:
1. Discuss the panelist’s experience with virtual learning.
2. Allow the panelists and participants to make the connection between marketable skills developed during virtual learning to the skills needed for future STEM careers.
3. Introduce concepts and tactics that can be used in virtual learning that will lead to mastery of communication skills.
