About the Event
GiSTEM is hosting “Thinking Big 2026,” a conference tailored for 400 high school students to dive into the realm of technology for interactive learning outside of the classroom. Students participate in hands-on activities and workshops facilitated by professionals from various backgrounds and industries. The event is strategically designed to establish a pipeline of young talent primed for future careers with leading organizations. This year's event will focus on sustainability. Over the next five years, sustainability-related careers are expected to grow across industries. Roles like renewable energy technicians, environmental analysts, sustainable
supply chain managers, and green building consultants are becoming more common. These careers require strong foundations in science, technology, engineering, and math.
